John Naber competed as a swimmer in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, Canada. He won 4 gold medals and 1 silver medal, breaking six world records. After his Olympic success, he went on to be a television announcer for over 30 different sports, a corporate speaker and an author. He has volunteered his time to many Olympic and sports related charities.
